Brose Sitech China is a subsidiary of the Brose Sitech Group joint venture between Volkswagen and Brose, which was established on January 1, 2022. The company currently has two locations: Brose Sitech (Anhui) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. and Brose Sitech (Shanghai) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd.
Located in Volkswagen Core Component Industrial Park, Hefei, Brose Sitech (Anhui) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. is the second production site in China after Brose Sitech (Shanghai) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. The main business of the Anhui facility is to provide seat solutions for Volkswagen's Anhui related models. Its production capacity includes metal seat frames, complete seat assembly and just-in-sequence (JIS) supplies.
The construction of the Anhui company had already started in April 2022 and was completed in October of the same year, with a total construction area of 13,000 square meters. The acquisition of two new orders in May 2023 by Brose Sitech Anhui is an important milestone in Brose Sitech China’s growth strategy.
