Degussa's "Make China Happen" performance enhancement program aims to increase our sales in China to about EURO 800 million by 2008. Degussa will then have a family of 5,000 employees in China region, about 6 times as it was in 2001. Therefore, Degussa is looking for talents on all levels of hierarchy and in all functions.
Degussa Trainee Program is one of the effective means to this ambition. This program recruits excellent fresh graduates and trains them for the future management of Degussa.
As a trainee, you will rotate through various functions, including R&D, technical support, sales, marketing, engineering, customer service, engineering, controlling, procurement, business development, etc. Meanwhile you will also receive miscellaneous tailor-made trainings, including on-the-job training and trainings of management skills, expertise skills, and personal development, etc. The program lasts 12-24 months, with each assignment of 6 months (or longer/shorter, to be determined by specific assignments). The Trainees will be transferred to BU/SU upon successful completion of the rotations.
