 Nokia Hangzhou R & D Center |
Hangzhou R&D site is part of Nokia's global R&D network. This site is providing multiple software for Nokia 3G products including Node B, RNC, platform SW, as well as WiMax. Started in 2002, we have developed into a comprehensive R&D function portfolio including system design, software design and implementation, functional testing, system testing and technical support. As long-term plan, we aim the R&D unit with size of 500 people and providing state of the art R&D products and excellent service to Nokia global customers.
Nokia WiMAX Product Development
Hangzhou Team is focusing on development of WiMAX related network element from the phase of architecture to system testing with the aim of delivering a mobile WiMAX end to end solution.
Nokia WCDMA Node-B
Hangzhou teams will be part of global Node B R&D organization and focus first on implementing, testing and integrating Node B. Later on there will be also architectural and system specification responsibilities
Nokia WCDMA RNC
Hangzhou team is responsible for software (SW) development, integration and verification (I&V) of Nokia RNC operation and maintenance (O&M) functionality.
Nokia Platform SW
Hangzhou R&D team is responsible for IPA2800 platform software development and testing. We also provide maintenance of platform and related products. Hangzhou teams' development focuses on operating system and services, telecom and datacom protocols and high availability features. |

| System Testing Engineer |
| Position Description: |
| Define and execute the functional and system test cases for the ASN Gateway product. Write automated test scripts as part of regression testing using TCL/Perl. |
Requirements: |
Experience: 3-5 years experience testing TCP/IP and Mobility products
Good knowledge and hands on experience in different testing phases: Functional Test. System Test, Stress test, Scalability test, and Perforformance test
Good knowledge in network protocols, e.g. routing, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MobileIP etc.
Working Knowledge Radio Resource Management protocols
Other automation skills are prefered (languages: Java, TCL/Expect, shell script, Perl).
Working experience with core routers and other testing tools such as data traffic generator (IXIA/Smartbits) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, good command of English.

| WiMAX ASN GW(Senior) System Engineer |
| Position Description: |
-By cooperation with system architect,product architect and system engineers ,define product architecture for ASN Gateway Control and Mgmt planes,and User plane.
-Follow the WiMAX Standardization (architecture & Protocols).
-Analyze customer requirements and make technical solutions.
-Translate technical solutions to software designs and provide technical leadership and guidance to software developers.
-Participate in the Technical Management Team of ASN GW, Drive the long term technical product strategy |
Requirements: |
3-5 years of experience in telecom system design & architecture, mobility applications
3 years(and above) technical leadership experience in SW design and product development
Knowledge of mobility control protocols (i.e. 2G, 3G, CDMA, WiFi,WiMAX…)
Good understanding of Broadband wireless.
Experience developing/programming complex telecom systems.
Knowledge of network and element management.
Good communication skills, good command of English.
BSCS/EE or equivalent.
Flexibility of taking international trips(<30% worktime) , participating to global workshops and events. |
